ASIC fleet management: every miner in one view
Fleet management software reads every miner of a farm, shows which ones need attention and lets you act on many at once. What it has to do, and how FARMGOD does it.
A mining farm is hundreds or thousands of machines that all look the same and all fail differently. Fleet management is the software that keeps track of them: what each one is doing, which ones are not doing it, and what to do about it.
What it has to do
- Find the miners. Scan the network and recognise each machine: make, model, firmware, pools.
- Read them all the time. Hashrate, temperatures, fans, power, boards and chips.
- Point at the problems. A list of every miner is not enough: the ones that need attention have to stand out.
- Act on many at once. Reboot, sleep, power modes, pools and firmware for a whole selection.
- Know the money. What the fleet earns against what its electricity costs.
How FARMGOD does it
A small on-site component reads the miners in your network: FARMGOD.OS on a spare PC, or the Kollektor on a Linux computer you run yourself. It sends the readings to your dashboard, and carries your commands back to the miners. Nothing has to be opened from the internet into your farm.
On the dashboard you get:
- The whole fleet on one page, by location, Device-Set and miner, down to boards and chips.
- Fleet Health: one table per kind of problem.
- Automation that reboots or protects miners on its own, and curtailment that follows the electricity price.
- Pool management, alerts by Telegram and an AI that reads your miners.
Two ways to run it
FARMGOD Cloud is the self-service way: sign up and start, free for up to five miners. A Private VPS is your own FARMGOD server, with accounts for your team and, for hosting providers, for their customers. On a Private VPS you are billed for the ASICs that are online, the average of the month, not for every machine you have onboarded. The pricing section compares the two.
Get started shows the three steps from signing up to the first miner on your dashboard.
