Mining pool management: every miner on the right pool

A miner earns nothing while it hashes for the wrong pool, or for none. FARMGOD sets pools for a whole fleet, corrects drifting worker names and shows which miners have fallen back to a backup pool.

A mining pool collects the work of many miners and pays each one its share. Every miner holds a short list of pools, usually three: the main one and two backups, each with a worker name that tells the pool whose work it is.

What goes wrong

  • Failover. The main pool can't be reached, and the miner works for a backup, often for days before anybody looks.
  • No pool at all. The miner runs, draws power and earns nothing.
  • Wrong worker names. Work is credited to the wrong account, or two miners share one name.
  • Pools that are not yours. A reset, a firmware's dev fee or somebody's hand has pointed the miner elsewhere.

Pools in FARMGOD

  • Set once, for many. Pools for the whole fleet, for a Device-Set or for a single miner, kept apart per algorithm.
  • Worker names by rule. FARMGOD corrects names that drift by itself.
  • An alert when a miner hashes somewhere it shouldn't.
  • Seen at a glance. Fleet Health lists the miners on a failover pool, those without an active pool, the pools the fleet really mines to, and duplicate worker names.
  • The pool's number next to the miner's. The hashrate the pool credits is shown beside what the miner reports.

How to get it

Pool management is part of Cloud PRO and of every Private VPS. Which miners take pool settings from the dashboard is listed on their pages, such as Antminer and Whatsminer.
