Stock firmware: the miner as its maker ships it

Stock firmware is the software a manufacturer installs on its miners. What FARMGOD does with miners on stock firmware, and when a custom firmware makes a difference.

Every ASIC miner leaves the factory with its maker's own software: the stock firmware. It runs the hashboards, talks to the pool and offers the miner's web page. Most miners in the world run it.

Stock or custom

For Antminers there are alternatives: VNish, Braiins OS, ePIC and MaraFW replace Bitmain's software, mostly to tune a machine beyond its factory settings. Many farms run a mix, and each firmware speaks its own language. FARMGOD speaks all five.

For Whatsminers there is a custom firmware of our own: FarmGod, for overclocking and underclocking.

Whatsminer, AvalonMiner, Sealminer, Auradine, Goldshell, Elphapex and VolcMiner are supported on their makers' firmware. Their pages list what each one lets you do.

Getting started

FARMGOD Cloud is free for up to five miners, with no time limit. Sign up, start FARMGOD.OS on a spare PC in your miners' network and run a scan: your miners appear on your dashboard. Get started shows the three steps. For a whole farm, a Private VPS brings every feature on a server of your own: see the pricing.
