FarmGod firmware: our own custom firmware for Whatsminers
FarmGod is FARMGOD's own custom firmware for Whatsminers. It lets you overclock a machine when mining pays well and underclock it when margins are thin, so a fleet stays competitive in a bear market too.
FarmGod is a custom firmware for Whatsminers, built by us. It replaces MicroBT's stock firmware and opens up what the factory settings keep fixed: how hard a machine works.
Overclocking and underclocking
A miner leaves the factory tuned to one operating point. That point is a compromise, and the market it was chosen for does not stand still.
- Overclocking runs the machine above its factory setting: more hashrate from the hardware you already own, for more power. It pays when mining pays well or power is cheap.
- Underclocking runs it below: less hashrate, but less power for every hash. It pays when margins are thin.
Competitive in a bear market
When the Bitcoin price falls, the reward for every hash falls with it, and a machine that earned money yesterday costs money today. On stock firmware the choice is to run it at a loss or to switch it off.
Underclocking adds a third way: the same machine at a setting where each hash needs less power. Machines that would be switched off keep earning, and an older generation stays in the rack for longer. When the market turns, the same firmware takes them back up.
FarmGod firmware in FARMGOD
- Recognised by the scan. A Whatsminer on FarmGod firmware is shown as one.
- One fleet. Whatsminers on FarmGod and on stock firmware sit in the same lists and dashboards, next to every other make.
- The numbers that decide. FARMGOD shows each miner's daily profit, margin and break-even price: the figures that tell you when a different setting pays.

Getting started
FARMGOD Cloud is free for up to five miners, with no time limit. Sign up, start FARMGOD.OS on a spare PC in your miners' network and run a scan: your Whatsminers appear on your dashboard. Get started shows the three steps. For a whole farm, a Private VPS brings every feature on a server of your own: see the pricing.
