Scrypt mining: Litecoin and Dogecoin miners in FARMGOD

Scrypt is the algorithm behind Litecoin and Dogecoin, which are mined together on the same machines. The Scrypt miners FARMGOD supports, and what it does with them.

Scrypt is the hash algorithm of Litecoin and Dogecoin. The two are merge-mined: one machine works for both at the same time. Scrypt hashrate is counted in megahashes and gigahashes per second, far smaller numbers than on SHA-256, and the two can never be added up.

Supported miners

  • Antminer L3, L3+, L3++, L5, L7 and L9.
  • Elphapex DG1, DG1+, DG1 Lite, DG Hydro 1 and DG Home 1.
  • Goldshell Mini DOGE family, LT Lite, LT5, LT5 Pro, LT6, DG Max, E-DG1M, DG Card and BYTE.
  • VolcMiner D1, D1 Lite, D1 Hydro and D1 Mini Pre.

What FARMGOD does with it

  • Its own units. Hashrate and efficiency are shown the way Scrypt is measured.
  • Its own place on the overview. Scrypt has its own hashrate and miner count, and is never added to another algorithm's numbers.
  • Specs per model. Each model is checked against its own hashrate, power draw and board count.
  • One fleet. Miners of every algorithm sit in the same lists and Device-Sets.

Getting started

FARMGOD Cloud is free for up to five miners, with no time limit. Sign up, start FARMGOD.OS on a spare PC in your miners' network and run a scan: your Scrypt miners appear on your dashboard. Get started shows the three steps. For a whole farm, a Private VPS brings every feature on a server of your own: see the pricing.
