The future of FARMGOD

FARMGOD has been acquired by a U.S.-based company deeply rooted in the mining community, led by Dan Koehler. The founder of FARMGOD stays with the project as Advisor and Head of Development.

From an independent project to a company

FARMGOD began more than two years ago as an independent project: developed in Europe, shaped by what mining operations asked for, and free to go its own way. That independence gave the product its character. It also set limits. A platform that farms rely on every day needs a team behind it, and a home in the market where much of the industry operates.

The acquisition provides both. With the new ownership come a strong team, the passion of people who mine themselves, and immediate plans for expansion.

A sign of confidence

Software is acquired when it has proven itself. The new owner did not buy an idea. It bought a product that runs in production every day, and it bought it to build on it.

For everyone who uses FARMGOD, that is good news: more people working on the product, a faster pace of development, and a company with the means to support a growing number of operations.

What stays the same

The direction does. Development remains in the hands that built FARMGOD, now with full attention on the technical and creative side of the product, while the new leadership takes care of growing the company around it. The aim is the one it has always been: to show operators what every miner is doing, and to let them act on it.

What comes next

The plans will take shape over the coming weeks and months, and this blog will report on them as they do.

The first date is already set. FARMGOD will take part in Mining Disrupt 2025 in Dallas, Texas, from November 11 to 13. Mining Disrupt is the world's largest Bitcoin mining conference and expo, and it brings together industry leaders, innovators and enthusiasts from around the globe. It is the place to meet the team and to see what is next for FARMGOD.

To everyone who has supported the project and shared feedback along the way: thank you. The journey continues, stronger than ever.
