Mining Disrupt Miami 2024

Three days at the Bitcoin mining expo in Miami: our own booth, our name on the sponsor wall, a museum full of mining history and a lot of new friends.

This week we packed the banner and the red shirts and went to Miami. Mining Disrupt, the Bitcoin mining expo, ran from June 24 to 26, and FARMGOD was there with a booth of its own.

Our name on the wall

Outside the hall, the sponsor wall carried the names of the show. Finding the FARMGOD logo on it, as in the picture above, was a good way to start.

At the booth

Our banner promised critical insights, and that is what we showed: every miner of a farm on one screen, with hashrate, temperatures, fans and power, and what each machine earns against what it costs to run.

Whoever wanted to try it could sign up on the spot.

Friends, old and new

A show is as good as the people you meet. Braiins, OCEAN, NiceHash, ePIC, ViaBTC, Bitmain and Antpool, IREN, Jsbit: we went to see them at their booths, and many of them came by ours. We came home with plenty of ideas for the months ahead.

A museum in the middle of the expo

The Bitcoin Mining Museum brought the history of our industry to Miami: USB miners, machines that were the state of the art ten years ago, an old Macintosh, and the newspaper from the day El Salvador made Bitcoin legal tender.

It is a good reminder of how young this industry is, and how fast it moves.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to the Mining Disrupt team for having us. See you at the next one.
